This year’s conference invites us to consider what reconciliation means in our classrooms, our programs, and our relationships with adult learners. Together, we will explore Indigenous perspectives and ways of knowing, share approaches to inclusive teaching, and consider how adult education can create opportunities for individuals, families, and communities.
The program brings together educators, community leaders, and practitioners for thought-provoking presentations, practical workshops, and creative experiences. Whether you are looking for ideas to bring into your classroom, opportunities to deepen your understanding, or time to connect with colleagues who share your commitment to adult learning, there is something here for you.
Just as valuable are the conversations between sessions: the chance to compare experiences, ask questions, reconnect with familiar faces, and meet people whose work can inform and strengthen your own. We hope you will join us and help make those conversations meaningful.

Live and Learn is a short documentary film about learning in adulthood. Going back to school as an adult can feel intimidating but it is worth it. These are stories from people who decided to go back to an adult learning center and upgrade their skills, get high school credits, and for many of them, to graduate with a Mature High School Diploma. The results are amazing.
