October 23, 2025 Fall Conference - Happening Now!
This year’s conference is an extraordinary opportunity to step away from the day-to-day, recharge, and connect with peers who share your passion for adult education. We are proud to welcome Darci Lang, best-selling author and award-winning speaker, who will lead us through a powerful full-day session on her signature message: Focus on the 90%. Darci’s approach will inspire us to shift our perspectives, strengthen resilience, and create more positive environments for both learners and colleagues.
We invite administrators, teachers, instructors, and support staff to be part of this important day of professional learning and connection. Every role has a vital impact on the success of adult learners, and together we can build a stronger, more supportive community of practice.

Live and Learn
A film by Kevin Nikkel
Original music by Jesse Krause
Live and Learn is a short documentary film about learning in adulthood. Going back to school as an adult can feel intimidating but it is worth it. These are stories from people who decided to go back to an adult learning center and upgrade their skills, get high school credits, and for many of them, to graduate with a Mature High School Diploma. The results are amazing.
Live and Learn world premiered at ASEC's 2024 Spring Conference!
